OPERATION UGANDA
And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
Isaiah 6:8

Mission
Warhorse Ministries, established by former Navy SEAL Jason Pike, was inspired by his desire to help others, particularly children, which grew during his time in Iraq. After leaving the Navy, Jason dedicated himself to supporting foster children in West Texas.

In 2016, Jason connected with Fred from Surpassing Grace in Uganda via social media and began supporting orphaned children and elders in need. From 2016 to 2023, their efforts provided food, medical care, schools, teachers, churches, and homes for over 100 children, elders, and locals. Jason visited Uganda in 2018 with another pastor to advance the mission.

Since 2018, Warhorse Ministries, in partnership with another organization, has drilled four water wells, supplying clean water to thousands. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the children were divided into four villages, each with over 100 children, located hours apart.

In 2022, the ministries purchased 20 acres of land to build a new home to reunite over 400 orphans. In 2023 and 2024, efforts focused on developing a farm to make the ministry self-sustaining.

The ultimate goal in this region is to extend the mission into war-torn Sudan when the time is right.
Vision
In 2025, Warhorse Ministries has shifted focus to the United States, launching youth programs to equip teens for the challenges of adulthood.

Our goal is to provide youth with the necessary tools that will help them get ahead in life and learn how to face their daily challenges, ensuring their chances of success is greater.
